By accessing or using any of the Chapter services (“Chapter”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Chapter.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of Chapter after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Chapter. By using Chapter, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
4. User Account
To access certain features of Chapter, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. Subscription and Payments
The Chapter Premium tier allows users to access additional features, including publishing and viewing public reviews. Payment for the Premium tier is handled directly through the App Store or Google Play Store, and we do not manage or process payment methods. By subscribing to the Premium tier, you agree to the App Store’s or Google Play Store’s terms and conditions regarding payment and billing.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Chapter for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- Engage in activities that may harm or disrupt Chapter or other users.
- Attempt to access any part of Chapter that you are not authorized to use.
7. Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or create within Chapter. By using Chapter, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your public content in connection with the operation of Chapter.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any activities that may harm Chapter or other users. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any content or data associated with it.
9. Disclaimers
Chapter is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of Chapter.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Chapter, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Any disputes arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws specified above, regardless of the user’s location. The arbitration process will be conducted in Spanish and the venue will be Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
13. Privacy
Your use of Chapter is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
