|We don’t want this chapter to end, but we totally understand! Here’s everything you need to know if you’d like to delete your account. Deleting your Chapter account will permanently erase all your data from our servers. This action is irreversible. If you decide to return to Chapter in the future (we’d love to have you back!), you’ll need to create a new account.
*This includes your stored books, uploaded media, reading goals, scheduled events, and private reviews. Public reviews and ratings will remain visible to other users but will no longer be linked to your account.
Deleting Your Account on Mobile (iOS and Android)
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon to access the Manage Account screen.
- Select Delete Account.
- Press and hold the button to confirm account deletion.
Once completed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted, and you will be signed out. If you decide to return, you’ll need to create a new account.
Important Information for Chapter Premium Subscribers
If you have an active Chapter Premium subscription, deleting your account will not automatically cancel your subscription. You will need to manually cancel it through the platform where you subscribed:
- App Store for iOS
- Google Play Store for Android
To avoid unintended charges, please cancel your subscription as soon as possible after deleting your account, or at least before your next billing cycle.
